Hawaiian Adobo

Ingredients :

  • 2 lb. lean pork
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained and reserve syrup

Cooking Procedures :

  1. Cook pork with garlic, vinegar, water, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. When pork is tender, add pineapple syrup.
  3. Cook and simmer until mixture becomes syrupy.
  4. Add pineapple tidbits and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve.
